Stone putting
Stone putting
The stone facing is stuck on the wall by means of industrial adhesive, the best of all is a frost-proof adhesive which could be bought at any shop with building material. Gaps among stones are approximately 1 – 3 cm. It is possible to use every piece of stone, as well as small pieces engendered while flicking off or sawing the stone.
The sand and cement mixture, fraction 0 – 2 mm, ratio 2:1, is used to fill in the gaps among stones. This substance is middle dampened and is pushed into gaps among stones in such a way that it is impossible for water to get behind the stone. In case of necessity it is possible to dye gap grouting material by using the cement mixture colour.
Gap grouting material is mildly scraped, approximately 0,5 – 1 cm under the stone surface. This method gives the stone facing much more plastic design and the fence looks like if it is stone walled.
There is necessity to wash the facing immediately by using clean water and a soft sponge from above downwards. If this process is not adhered, there will remain cement traces on the stone and it will be a problem to eliminate them later.
The process of gap grouting and washing is very fast, but it is suitable only for some kinds of stones, the stones which are not porous and which are smooth-surfaced

How to act correctly when the paving is being put into the concrete base.
Paving thickness 2 – 4 cm, 4 – 7 cm, 7 – 10 cm is used. Stone paving is pushed into the concrete base (the best fraction is 0 – 4 mm). Gaps among stones are 1 – 3 cm. It is important to adhere to a slope of 1 – 2o of a paving area because of water flow.
The thickness of the concrete base depends on the weight of area 10 – 20 cm. The less is the area stressed, the lesser is the thickness of the concrete base. It is recommended to add reinforced concrete into an concrete base to make qualities of area much more better.

The sand and cement mixture, fraction 0 – 2 mm, ratio 2:1, is used to fill in the gaps among stones. When the process of filling in is completed, it is necessary to wash the stone immediately
